Bundle Care

Pre-Care (Before Install)

Before installation, co-wash your bundles using sulfate-free shampoo and a moisturizing conditioner. Gently detangle from ends to roots and allow the hair to air dry. This step preps the hair for optimal performance, softness, and longevity.

Maintenance

Wash every 2-3 weeks (or 7–10 wears days for more active lifestyles) to prevent product buildup and maintain shine. Always cleanse in a downward motion and condition mid-shaft to ends to preserve moisture and prevent tangling. Allow hair to air dry whenever possible.

Heat & Styling

Avoid excessive heat, heavy products, and daily maniupulation to preserve the integrity of the hair. Bella Monroe textures are designed to hold style without daily heat or excessive manipulation, preserving the hair's natural integrity over time.

Night Care

Wrap hair in a silk or satin scarf before bed or sleep on a silk pillowcase to maintain softness and reduce friction and maintain softness and shine.

Closure & Frontal Care

Pre-Care (Before Install)

If customization is desired,
make minimal adjustments prior to installation to preserve the integrity of the lace. Light plucking maybe done to customize the hairline to your preference, taking care to maintain the balance and density. Avoid excessive bleaching or over-processing the lace, as this can weaken knots and reduce longevity.

Maintenance

Detangle gently using a
wide-tooth comb or soft detangling brush, starting from the ends and working upward. When cleansing, use a sulfate-free shampoo and avoid scrubbing, twisting, or aggressively manipulating the lace. Cleanse delicately and rinse thoroughly to maintain lace integrity and softness
of the hair.

Lace Care & Prevention

Lace is delicate by nature
and should always be handled with care. Avoid scratching the lace with sharp tools, combs, pins or fingernails, as punctures may cause tearing, shedding, and holes in the lace. Refrain from repeated bleaching of knots, as chemical processing can weaken both the lace and knots, in addition to the hair structure itself over
time.

Night Care

Secure hair with a silk or satin scarf before bed to protect the lace and reduce friction. Proper night care helps maintain a smooth hairline, prevents unnecessary wear, and extends the life of your
closure or frontal.

Malaysian Long Black Deep Wave- Ready to Wear Wig-Front View

Wig Care

Pre-Care (Before Install)

Gently remove the wig from
packaging and allow it to fall naturally. Light finger-styling or use of a wide-tooth comb is recommended. Avoid aggressive plucking, cutting, or thinning—each unit is intentionally crafted for balance, density, and realism. If customization is desired, proceed conservatively to maintain structure and longevity.

Maintenance

Clean wigs as needed based on product usage. Use a sulfate-free shampoo and moisturizing conditioner. Always cleanse in a downward motion and avoid twisting or bunching the hair. Allow wigs to air-dry only on a mannequin head or wig stand to preserve shape, cap structure, and lace integrity.

Lace & Hair Line Preservation

Lace is delicate and should
be handled with intention. Avoid scratching the lace with combs, pins, fingernails, or sharp tools. If adjusting the hairline, pluck lightly and
evenly—over-plucking or repeated bleaching can weaken lace and reduce durability. A light application of a lace-safe sealant may be used to reinforce knots and support longevity Limit heavy oils, alcohol-based products, and
excessive product layering, as buildup can dull the hair and weigh it down. Treat your unit as you would your own hair—intentional handling extends its life.

Night Care

Wigs should be removed before
sleeping. Store on a mannequin head, wig stand, or in a satin or silk bag to maintain structure. For short-term wear, lightly secure with a silk or satin scarf to reduce friction and preserve smoothness.
